    Tia L. Woods, author of My Story My Truth, No Secrets And At Peace

     

    Tia L. Woods was born in Dallas, TX. but soon thereafter came to Hartford, Ct where she grew up.  

     

    Being a teen mom herself and knowing the struggles first hand, she has always had a heart for young moms.  She has mentored teens for many years. She is an advocate for the people she considers the “voiceless”. 

     

    Her book is a testimony of resilience and determination.

     

    Tia is the mother of five wonderful children and two grandchildren.  She loves her dog Lexi. Tia is a self described risk taker. She believes “nothing ventured nothing gained”  is one of the truest quotes she has ever heard.
