ITS The Room is a fashion and accessories retail store that curates and showcases a wide range of high-quality products from Black-owned brands. Our mission is to expose and expand Black brands by providing an in-store and online platform that will allow entrepreneurs to grow their audience and income without the hassle of trying to maintain a storefront on their own.

What We Offer

We provide customers with a unique and stylish shopping experience created for us, by us. Featuring a large selection of small or independently owned Black businesses in Connecticut and beyond, our product offerings include clothing, beauty products, accessories, books, and home decor and more.

Beyond the Products

Founded by Tia L. Woods & her daughter Tiana Allman in 2019, ITS the Room not only aims to help Black creatives and entrepreneurs gain brand awareness but build wealth and leave legacies. ITS the Room is not just a name, but an acronym that represents a legacy. "ITS" stands for the names of Tia's children and grandchildren because as a retailer, ITS the Room is not a business designed to promote the fleeting nature of today but to ensure that as a black community we're making space for the ancestors of tomorrow. Our name will be proudly known and passed on for generations to come, and whether you're a vendor, team member, or customer we soon hope to know yours.
